The changes I could expect for my study program are improving the Chemistry subject and making changes in the methodology of Introduction on the calculation, since the latter starts in a way that I consider is not suitable for students who are entering the university for the first time and do not know the basics like logic for algebraic expressions. The way it is functioning now makes the students feel far away from others that had the opportunity of studying on a private school.
For my career specifically, it could change its vision, we are prepared to look forward the process of production on big industries, but that is just a bit of all we can do as Food Engineers because we can focus on marketing, food quality control, the economic area of companies that produce food or those that are in charge of making them reach the population. That's why I expect a change of vision and mission for me and my partners because it could make us open new doors to our professional life. Also, we could focus more on other types of food too, our program actually make us work in meat products a lot more than dairy products and vegetable raw materials. If the program changes, I think it could have more workload and length of studies by adding some subjects or modifying which already exists. It could change the use of technology and the teaching methods too and will require better laboratories for us all.
